First off, my apologies for the late post! I forgot to write my post yesterday, but in any case, here I am! This won’t be long:

Although Friday was a half day, I really enjoyed listening to the Author’s Chair. It really inspired me to kick it into high gear for next week. Since I will be starting my formal academic writing for my thesis, I have to make sure I keep that same confidence I’ve had during this semester. Formal writing is not really “my thing,” but after learning, growing, and discovering more about myself, I’m ready to take on the task. Friday, I was able to make a plan for how I will conduct the last three days of the retreat. My goal is to surpass those goals and surprise myself (but we’ll see). I also am looking forward to getting some sparks of creativity for my web design. I have a few ideas in mind already, but I really want to take the long weekend to relax and spend time with my family. I think a day off would be good for me since I have been going non-stop!
